Abstract:Objective To construct an intelligent curriculum system for Introduction to Nursing and to investigate its practical efficacy. Methods A total of 304 undergraduate nursing students enrolled in 2023 were taken as a control group, and 328 undergraduate nursing students enrolled in 2024 as an intervention group.The control group was received the knowledge mapping teaching, while the intervention group was subjected to an intelligent curriculum system and carried out teaching practices following the process of cognitive reserve-cognitive construction-cognitive deepening-cognitive internalization.The comprehensive scores on the online platform, flipped classroom scores, final theoretical assessment scores, and nursing students′ satisfaction with the course were compared between the two groups. Results The comprehensive scores on the online platform, flipped classroom scores, and final theoretical assessment scores of the intervention group were significantly higher than those of the control group (all P<0.05) and the observation group reported high overall satisfaction with the smart course. Conclusion The intelligent curriculum system for Introduction to Nursing reflects the in-depth integration of intelligence and education, and its practical teaching can improve nursing students′ academic performance, and nursing students have high overall satisfaction with the course, which provides strong support for the transformation of the teaching model featuring in-depth interaction among "teachers-students-machines".
