Objective To analyze the status and influencing factors of nursing presence in perioperative patients with colorectal cancer, in order to provide guidance for improving patients′ perception of nursing services and building a harmonious relationship among nurses and patients. Methods During July 2024 to August 2025, 275 patients with primary colorectal cancer and undergoing surgical treatment were selected through convenience sampling method, then they were investigated by using a general information questionnaire, the Nursing Presence Scale (NPS), the Oncology Patients′ Perceptions of the Quality of Nursing Care Scale (OPPQNCS) and the Trust in Nurse Scale (TNS). Results The participants′ score of NPS was (99.64±28.10) in perioperative period. The score of OPPQNCS and TNS were positively correlated with that of NPS (both P<0.05). Multiple linear regression analysis showed that, gender, age, clearly awareness of disease condition, willingness of communicating with nursing staff, perception of nursing service quality and trust in nurses were significant influencing factors of nursing presence among patients with colorectal cancer in perioperative period（all P<0.05）. Conclusion The nursing presence among patients with colorectal cancer in perioperative period is moderate. Clinical nurses should implement targeted nursing care according to the influencing factors, so as to improve the perioperative nursing quality, meet patients′ needs of nursing service, and enhance their perception of nursing presence.
