Objective To comprehensively retrieve, evaluate, and summarize the best evidence on noise management in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), so as to provide an evidence-based basis for clinical medical staff to implement noise management. Methods We systematically searched major domestic and foreign databases and guideline websites for clinical decisions, guidelines, evidence summaries, expert consensus, and systematic reviews related to NICU noise management. The search period was from the establishment of the database to September 30, 2025. Two researchers independently evaluated the quality of the literature, and extracted, synthesized, and summarized the evidence. Results A total of 13 articles were finally included, consisting of 1 evidence summary, 3 guidelines, 2 expert consensus reports, and 7 systematic reviews. Thirty best evidence statements were formulated and classified into four key areas:noise assessment and monitoring,noise reduction period,noise reduction measures, and personnel training and education. Conclusion The integrated evidence on NICU noise management can help standardize noise management. When applying the evidence, it is necessary to comprehensively consider the regional environment, resource allocation, and individual conditions of neonates, identify the differences between evidence and clinical practice, and thus formulate applicable and feasible noise management strategies.
