Abstract:Objective To develop a role function and post content framework for stroke advanced practice nurses tailored to China′s clinical context, to provide references for role development and practical implementation of stroke advanced practice nurses.Methods The initial draft of role functions and post content for stroke advanced practice nurses was developed through evidence-based literature review and research group discussion. Fifteen experts were selected to conduct two rounds of Delphi expert consultation. Results The response rate for both rounds of Delphi expert consultation was 100%. The expert authority coefficients were 0.89 and 0.92 respectively, and the expert opinion coordination coefficients were 0.259 and 0.474 respectively (all P<0.05). The finalized framework included 6 role functions and 37 specific work items. Conclusion The developed framework for role functions and post content of stroke advanced practice nurses has good reliability and expert recognition, which can serve as a reference for training stroke advanced practice nurses.
