Abstract:Objective To summarize the best evidence for non-pharmacological prevention strategies of post-stroke cognitive impairment, and to provide references for clinical nursing practice. Methods A systematic search was conducted across the following resources:Medlive, CNKI, VIP, Wanfang Data, SinoMed, BMJ Best Practice, UpToDate, Canadian Stroke Best Practices website, Cochrane Library, Embase and PubMed. The retrieval period was from the establishment of the databases to June 1, 2025. The types of literature included clinical decisions, guidelines, evidence summaries, systematic reviews, best practicesrecommendations, and expert consensus statements. Results A total of 5 052 articles were retrieved, and 39 articles were finally included. Twenty-four pieces of evidence were extracted and summarized into 8 themes:establishing a multidisciplinary collaborative team, objectives and principles, implementation time and location, comorbidity management and complication management, lifestyle and dietary guidance, traditional Chinese medicine interventions and physical therapy, cognitive and physical activity interventions, and family empowerment education. Conclusion The summarized best evidence for non-pharmacological prevention strategies of post-stroke cognitive impairment can provide evidence-based references for clinical medical staff to carry out relevant interventions.
