Objective To develop an expert consensus on early postoperative mobilization in patients with idiopathic scoliosis, aiming to provide a guidance for standardizing early mobilization in this population. Methods A preliminary draft of the consensus was developed through literature review, expert discussion and consultation. Then two rounds of Delphi expert consultation and online expert panel meetings were conducted for revision and refinement. Results The consensus comprises 17 recommendations across six aspects: assessment and indications for early postoperative mobilization, principles and preparation, in-bed mobilization nursing, out-of-bed mobilization nursing, nutritional care, and psychological nursing. Conclusion This consensus is scientific and practical, and can provide a reference for clinical nurses in standardizing early postoperative mobilization for patients with idiopathic scoliosis.
